I did this modification to alleviate the problem of control balls coming loose.

If you are doing 'crack' maneuvers, a.k.a. 'shaky sticks', I would recommend

checking the control balls on your cyclic servos often. I hope this is useful for you.

    I started with a set of Dynamite Machined Aluminum Servo Arms. They are

pre-tapped for 3mm screws. This particular arm is for JR servos, but they also

make Futaba and HiTec versions.

        

 

    Next, I located the hole that I wanted to use and removed the excess material.

        

 

        

 

 

    Finally, I installed a 3mm control ball (107-106) with Red Loctite® and a hex nut on the bottom.
