I did this modification to alleviate the problem of control balls coming loose.
If you are doing 'crack' maneuvers, a.k.a. 'shaky sticks', I would recommend
checking the control balls on your cyclic servos often. I hope this is useful for you.

I started with a set of Dynamite Machined Aluminum Servo Arms. They are
pre-tapped for 3mm screws. This particular arm is for JR servos, but they also
make Futaba and HiTec versions.

Next, I located the hole that I wanted to use and removed the excess material.

Finally, I installed a 3mm control ball (107-106) with Red Loctite® and a hex nut on the bottom.
